Congratulations to Mike & Jan Murphy of Salinas, CA for being voted PTCSV Cruiser of the Month for February 2003.
Not knowing much more about the PT Cruiser other than it was the coolest car
I had seen in some years, Jan & I headed to Connell Chrysler in Oakland
December 2000. They, at the time, were one of the only dealerships with stock
on hand, and checked out the 5 Cruisers they had. If I remember correctly,
they had a Shale Green, Patriot Blue, Silver, White and Black. Jan wanted
the Shale Green. There was something different about the Black, tho. Well,
Christina ended up being our choice, and we drove her home.
There was an Inferno Red PT in our complex, and Kathryn introduced us to the
land of PTSV. We joined in December, 2000. Since, there are new people, and
new PT's. The thrill is still there, though. This little black beauty with
the crooked rear wing is responsible for some of the best times we've had
in recent years. The friends we have acquired are second to none.
I, as most others, have wished we had done things differently in our lives.
This is one case I wouldn't change for the world.
