PTCSV Cruiser of the Month
Congratulations to George & Ruth Frautos of San Jose,CA for being named PTCSV Cruiser of the Month for October, 2002. George and Ruth are owners of "Berie PT" a 2002 Cranberry "Don't call it purple" Limited Edition PT Cruiser.
George is originally from Texas & ruth is from Pennsylvania. They met in California in 1961 through George's sister, who's married to Ruth's uncle. They didn't start going together as a couple until 1965. George & Ruth were married in May 1968 and this year celebrated their 34th wedding anniversary. They have 2 children, Denise 33 & David 31. Both kids are not married yet, and therefore George and Ruth are still waiting to be GRANDPARENTS!!!!!
George likes golfing, coaching girls/women's softball, camping, the San Francisco 49ers and Giants. Ruth enjoys bowling, playing softball (still plays on 2 leagues in spring/summer), camping and family gatherings.
George retired in 1995 after 28 years as a truck driver with Foodmaker Inc. (Jack in the box). Ruth still works at the San Jose Mercury News and keeps George busy throughout the week with lots of "Honey Do's". George also spends alot of time washing/polishing the PT, which he thoroughly enjoys doing !!!
One of the reasons they decided to purchase a PT was to join a "PT Cruiser Club". They both are very happy they did, because they found such a great bunch of people in PTCSV!
